Deleting Temporary Internet Files and Cookies

This is a step-by-step tutorial for deleting temporary internet files and cookies with Internet Explorer. This will help optimize the defragmenting process.

Open Internet Explorer by double-clicking the icon on your desktop.

Click on “Tools” in the menu bar.

Click “Internet Options…”

This window will appear.

Click the “Delete Cookies…” button.

This window will appear.

Click “OK”

Click the “Delete Files…” button.

This window will appear.

Click on the check box by “Delete all offline content” so that a check appears in it.

Click “OK”

Click “OK” to close the Internet Options window.

Close Internet Explorer by clicking the red “X”.
