DryFire is a serious training aid for those who wish to improve
their shotgunning skills through intensive practice. Shoot 50,000,
100,000, or even 200,000 targets a year for only the cost of electricity.
DryFire combines computer hardware and software to allow you to
practice shooting in the privacy of your own home.
We have all, at times, wondered why the clay didn't break. You
are now learning about a product that can and will show you exactly
where your shot-string (shot pattern) was in relationship to the
clay. Look closely at the picture below and see how DryFire takes
the guess work out of every shot. When you miss, you will know exactly
where you missed.
Were you behind, in front, over the top, or below? And when you
hit, you will know exactly how close to “dead center”
you were.
Have you ever wondered exactly how far away the target was when
you broke it? Have you wondered if you are using the right choke?
DryFire will give you the facts and help you answer these questions,
then, you can decide if you want to make a change.
DryFire presents a picture like this (on your
PC screen) after every shot.
In the lower left corner of the screen you
are given
five facts about your last shot.
Did you “Hit or Miss” the clay.
How far in “inches” was the center of your
shot-string (pattern) in front of or behind the center of
the clay.
How far in “inches” was the center of your
shot-string (pattern) above or below the center of the clay.
How many yards was the clay from your muzzle when the
shot-string (pattern) hit or missed the clay.
The time, measured in hundredth of a second, from the
launch of the clay until the shot-string (pattern) hit or
missed the clay.
A Very Sophisticated Tool
On every shot, DryFire takes the following factors into account
before it determines the relative position of the shot-string (pattern)
in relationship to the clay and whether the pellets hitting the
clay have enough energy to break it (edge-on clays require more
energy to break than face-on clays).
Barrel length
Choke in barrel
Shot size
Shot load
Muzzle velocity
Wind direction
Wind speed
Clay trajectory
Aerodynamic forces working on the clay and shot (gravity, drag,
etc.)

Are You Serious about Shooting 50,000 Targets
a Year?
With DryFire you can shoot 50,000 targets a year and you don’t
need to be wealthy to do it. Whether you shoot 50 targets or 50,000
targets, your only cost is electricity. If you practice 30 minutes
a day, 5 days a week, you will shoot 50,000 targets in a year. Something
very few shooters are ever able to do. But, because DryFire is conveniently
located in your garage, spare bedroom, or in the basement, you will
easily be able to spend the time necessary to shoot 50,000 targets
and then, when you shoot at the local gun club you will reap the
benefits of the “gun control” and the
“lead pictures” you have developed
while using Dryfire.
